What's New at the Martyrs' Shrine!

NOW OPEN FOR 2008!
The Martyrs' Shrine is now open for the 2008 season. Our first day will be Saturday, May 17. Please note the mass schedule and our pilgrimage schedule.

As Canada's only national shrine outside of the Province of Quebec the Martyrs' Shrine is pleased to welcome pilgrims traveling to and from the 2008 Eucharistic Congress in Quebec City. This Easter (March 23, 2008) the Shrine hosted the Ark of the New Covenant on its "Shrine Pilgrimage" which began at the Martyrs' Shrine in Midland Ontario on its way to Quebec City for the Eucharistic Congress (June 15 -22, 2008).

NEW WEBSITE!
We are proud to announce the launch of our re-designed website (2008). This site offers easier navigation and a new visual experience. The Story of the Martyrs' Shrine can now be read to you through our on-site media player, and for those of you who still prefer the text versions you may read them online or download them to print. Our Virtual Tour has been updated to include some new national shrines on our site. There are now a number of pages describing the many ways donations can be made to the Martyrs' Shrine. There is even a PayPal page which allows visitors to make a donation via the internet. The new page also includes information about the Shrine Cafe and our Gift Shop.
